Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using openthis.one, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service does

openthis.one lets you create temporary surprise pages, choose a template, write a message, and share the result through a custom subdomain link such as your-link.openthis.one.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the service. The service is not intended for children under 13.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

Public links and your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including names, messages, and other text you enter into surprise pages.

By using the service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service.

Surprise pages are accessible to anyone with the link while they are active. Do not use the service to share highly sensitive or confidential information.

Acceptable use

• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or obscene content.
• Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with them.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, systems, or subdomains.
• Interfere with the service, bypass limits, scrape the service at scale, or abuse our infrastructure.
• Use surprise pages to distribute spam, malware, phishing content, or deceptive links.
• Upload or submit content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

Subdomains and temporary pages

Custom subdomains are provided on a temporary basis and are tied to specific surprise pages. We may block, reclaim, or refuse subdomains that are reserved, misleading, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.

Surprise pages may expire, be deleted by you, or be removed by us if necessary to enforce these terms or protect the service.

Billing and refunds

Certain features of the service require payment. Pricing is displayed before you confirm a purchase. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Refund eligibility and procedures are described in our Billing & Refund Policy.

Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific uptime, or error-free operation.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account through Settings.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for other users, or exposed the service to legal or security issues.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, openthis.one and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, goodwill, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service. If applicable law does not allow some of these limitations, they apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the service after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
